There are a number of modems to choose from to suit your application - here is a brief overview to help you select the correct page

Features and compatibility presentation

1870

Short range pan European radio modem, ideal for internal applications such as within a factory.

1870E new 187007

Same specification as the 1870, but with more power! some European countries including the UK now permit 0.5w on this frequency.

2ASXe

9600 baud original PC compatible unit. A great workhorse for those not requiring the speeds of the 3AS but who still want such features as addressing and repeater functionality.

2ASc

Replacement for the 1AS 2AS for those expanding old networks - there are still units working over 15 years old!

3AS/3ASd

This is the work horse of the range, it is the most versatile and suitable for many applications, the 3AS works at speeds of up to 19.2k RS232/RS422/RS485 latest spec. Comes with addressing and repeater functionality as standard also frequency scanning and low power options available. World wide approvals. General Specification

3AS 869

869 MHz, Same spec as the 3AS, but with European wide approval (some countries have restrictions i.e on power), but shorter transmission range (about 3/4 distance) in comparison to the standard 3AS

3AS VHF

Same General spec as the 3AS - but on VHF Frequencies (138-160 MHz, 12,5 kHz, 1 W) Also incorporates NMS network management software

3AS NMS

Same spec as the 3AS - but with Network Management System on board. This makes childs play of design, configuration and remote monitoring of your radio network

Epic 10w

19.2k  1 - 10 Watt long range. This is based on the 3AS, but its increased power means that it will require a license in most instances. Diversity reception provides increased signal reliability when transmitting from moving vehicles.Needs a license in the UK

Epic 10w Pro

As above but with IP67 housing.  Does not incude diversity reception but comes with dual band as standard.  Ideal repeater. Needs a license in the UK

1915new 187004 (FHSS)

Compact, Multi-Purpose Radio Modem. Uses the ISM licence-free frequency band 902…928 MHz and Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) technology

 

IP-LinkIPLINK

The IP-LINK together with a SATELLINE radio modem facilitates wireless connections within or between Ethernet-based control and management systems. The IP-LINK converts the data packets transmitted on the Ethernet to a form acceptable to the radio modem, and vice versa
