SA TELLINE-3ASd Epic Pro is an IP67 classified UHF radio modem with
a high power (10 W) .
It is particularly well suited for outdoor use (land surveying, for instance) under varying weather conditions.
Due to the high transmitting power, connection distances of up to 80 kilometers can be covered. It is also compatible with the SATELLINE 3AS
range of modems. In the UK you will need a licence from OFCOM
According to the IP67 standard, the casing and connectors of the SATELLINE-3ASd Epic Pro are waterproof and secured against dust. The radio modem is equipped with a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD), used to indicate the current operating status (frequency, channel number, power level, voltage level, field strength), as well as for changing the setups of the radio modem.
The SATELLINE-3ASd Epic Pro radio modem is a special "Dual Band" version. The radio transceiver of the Dual Band version offers as an option two 2 MHz frequency bands, tuned at the factory with maximum separation of 12 MHz between the highest and the lowest frequency. The radio modem can be reprogrammed to operate at any channel within those two bands.
